Baseball: Built Through Brotherhood
Baseball: Built Through Brotherhood
The 2025 Ontario Christian Baseball team demonstrated that the foundation of a successful program extends far beyond the final score. Throughout the season, the Knights embraced the values of teamwork, perseverance, and brotherhood, growing together through every practice, game, and challenge they faced.
Baseball is a game that requires trust, patience, and a commitment to one another, and this year’s team embodied those qualities. The Knights competed with determination, supported one another through adversity, and continued to represent Ontario Christian with character and integrity. The relationships built throughout the season became one of the program’s greatest accomplishments, creating a culture that will continue to impact the team for years to come.
The season also saw several Knights recognized for their outstanding performances on the field.
Ambassador League Honors
First Team All-Ambassador League
- Brady Dinco, Sr.
- Matt Jimenez, Sr.
Second Team All-Ambassador League
- Cohen McKeehan, Jr.
These individual honors reflect the dedication and hard work displayed by the entire team throughout the season. While awards recognize individual achievement, they are also a testament to the support, encouragement, and commitment of teammates working toward a common goal.
More importantly, the Knights continued to grow as young men of faith, learning lessons about leadership, resilience, and service that extend well beyond baseball. The culture of unity and brotherhood established within the program serves as a reminder that success is not measured solely by wins and losses, but by the impact made on one another and the way Christ is reflected through competition.
The team’s season reflected the truth of Ecclesiastes 4:9-10: “Two are better than one… If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” Through every challenge and every opportunity, the Knights stood together, strengthening one another and honoring God through their commitment to the team.
