This past weekend Ontario Christian Football traveled to Reedley, California, to compete in the Kings River Rumble at Immanuel High School. The event brought together teams from across the region for a day of competition, fellowship, and growth.
.
Our linemen proudly represented what it means to be an Ontario Christian Knight, displaying grit, work ethic, tenacity, and brotherhood in every event. The Knights battled throughout the day and earned an impressive 3rd-place overall finish.
.
One of the day’s biggest highlights came in the tug-of-war competition, where the Knights defeated the host school, Immanuel, to claim the coveted championship. The team was divided into five different groups, and each group competed with relentless effort and determination. One group even out-benched Mendota, showcasing the strength and commitment being developed through offseason training.
.
As a program, we are embracing our 2026 theme, RESTORE, rooted in Matthew 16:18:
“And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”
Just as Christ spoke of building upon a strong foundation, our players are learning that success is built through daily commitment, perseverance, and faith. The Kings River Rumble was another step in that process. The results were encouraging, but even more impressive was the way our young men competed for one another and lived out the values of our program.
.
The foundation is being laid. The brotherhood is growing. The work continues.
RESTORE. Build on the Rock.
