Ambassador League Champions!

On Thursday, February 9 at 4:00 the boys varsity soccer team took on League opponent Woodcrest Christian in front of an enthusiastic and supportive home crowd.  The Knights came out on top with a 1-0 victory on the strength of an early goal by Senior, Josh Amaya.  The goal came just minutes into the start of the game as Amaya headed it past the Royals goalkeeper off of the punt of OC keeper Zach Cupp.  The win was a bit of redemption for the Knights as they had dropped their previous match against Woodcrest Christian 6-1.  With the victory the Knights secured the Ambassador League Championship with a League record of 11-1-2.  Next up will be the CIF playoffs set to begin Friday, Feb. 17 at 5:00 pm.  Ontario Christian will play host  to an opponent that is TBD.  CIF pairings will be released on Monday via the CIF website.
