Student Athletic Training Program

The Sports Medicine needs of the athletes of Ontario Christian Schools cannot be met by one person. It takes a team of loving, dedicated and hard-working individuals with the knowledge, skills and desire to see others succeed. These wonderful people are the Student Athletic Trainers. These students work tirelessly to care for their fellow student athletes. They provide hydration, cryotherapy, preventative taping, first aid and emergency care all under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer. These students earn an American Red Cross certification in First Aid, CPR and Automatic External Defibrillation use. They also earn certifications in preventative taping techniques. The Student Athletic Trainers work long hours with every sport to provide quality care and support as athletes work tirelessly at their chosen sport.
