Coming off their second consecutive Ambassador League Championship, the Lady Knights are ready to get back to work!

The girls soccer team is encouraged to participate with the boys program this summer.

Summer Training will have 2 halves.

Beginning June 1st through June 26th & July 13th-July 30th

Mondays: 8:00am-9:15am (Weights & Speed Training only)

Tuesday’s-Thursday 8:00am-10:00am (Weights & Soccer)

Dead Period June 28th-July12th

Summer Expectations: we encourage families to enjoy vacations and time off!

While summer training is not mandatory and they are not tryouts it is an amazing opportunity to improve your skills and abilities.

I encourage players who want to reach their next level to come if they are able to.

For athletes who are in a fall sport we will work together to ensure your safety and avoid overuse injuries. 

Goal of summer training: Summer Training has multiple components 

Weight room: We will look to improve Flexibility, mobility and strengthen the muscles surrounding joints in addition to workouts to 

target legs, hips, back, shoulders, arms & chest to build up all around strength. 

Speed + Footwork: Similar to the weight room we will look to improve flexibility & mobility.

Improving off ball footwork, incorporating resistance training to strengthen the hamstrings, quads & glutes. We will aim to “get faster”. Form will be an emphasis during this time.

Soccer: The goal of summer soccer is to develop skills and concepts for the season. 

  • On ball movements 
  • Touch
  • Passing 
  • Shooting
  • Small sided possession games 
  • Fast paced mini games 
  • Decision making 

To create a foundation for the rest of the season we do “rise up to the occasion” we fall back to our training. 

Over the summer we will have scrimmages for all skill levels to participate in. The goal is to have fun in competition and enjoy the game while being able to learn what we need to improve on.
