Boys CC Places 1st and Girls 2nd in opening league meet

Both the boys and girls Cross Country teams opened the league season with strong showings in the 1st Ambassador League Meet of the year.  The meet took place at the Riverside City CC course, which is also the home of CIF Prelims.  The teams competed not only with their league opponents but endured a very dry and dusty course in 100 degree temperatures. The boys narrowly defeated perennial powerhouse Woodcrest Christian 39-41 (low score wins in CC) to secure a 1st place finish while the girls finished strong with a 2nd place finish.  Click here for full meet results.
