OCHS Appoints Matthew Hoekstra As Head Football Coach

Ontario Christian Athletics welcomes Coach Matt Hoekstra, wife Robyn, daughter Emma (4) and son Caleb (8 months). We are thrilled to see what the Lord has in store for the program. We are confident that Coach Hoekstra will work tirelessly to pursue excellence as he develops leaders who love the lord and work to glorify Him through football. He is a great match for Ontario Christian as he brings a passion for the Lord, an attention to detail, a great work ethic, and a strong faith.

Coach Hoekstra has served the Football program since 2009 as a freshman Defensive Coordinator, JV Head Coach, Varsity Offensive Line Coach and most recently Varsity Offensive Coordinator. He is a 2001 graduate of Ontario Christian. From there he attended Northwestern College where he earned a BA in exercise science while a member of the football team. He also holds a doctorate of physical therapy from Western University of Health Sciences. He currently works as a pediatric rehabilitation therapist for San Bernardino County.
